Mr WEBB (STIRLING, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - I ask the Minister for Labour and National Service whether he is aware that a special Federal trade union conference has been held in Perth within the last few days to discuss the aim of the Western Australian Employers' Federation to bring overseas committed labour to work in the North West. Does he know that this proposal is also being sponsored by the Minister for the North West in the Western Australian Government? As this labour cannot be brought in without the concurrence of the Federal Government, will the Minister state the view or the policy of the Government on this matter?
