Mr McCOLM (BOWMAN, QUEENSLAND) - I ask the Minister for Supply whether he can clear up some confusion which exists at present concerning Australia's right to export the FN 7.62-mm. rifle which is made under licence from Belgium. Has the Minister's attention been directed to a recent overseas statement that Australia has a licence to manufacture the FN rifle only for her own needs and not for export? Is that statement correct? Is it not a fact that FN rifles have been exported from the Small Arms Factory at Lithgow?
