Mr McMAHON (LOWE, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for Labour and National Service) - I wholeheartedly endorse the last part of the honorable gentleman's question. The leaders of the Seamen's Union of Australasia are a source of nuisance to the whole country and I believe that when they tie up ships as they are doing in Newcastle, they do great damage to the seamen themselves and to Australia. As to the first part of the question concerning the tie-up at Newcastle, I am obtaining information about this matter now to see whether there is something I can do about it.
