Mr Ward d asked the Treasurer, upon notice-

1.   When did the Governor of the Reserve Bank, Dr. Coombs, first advise the Government that present trends in the national economy could develop dangerously unless corrected?

2.   What was the precise nature of the advice tendered by Dr. Coombs, and was it accepted by the Government in its entirety?

3.   If not, in what respects was it departed from?
