Mr ADERMANN - The firm engaged by the Australian Wool Bureau was entitled Personnel Administration. Its selection was a matter for decision by the Australian Wool Bureau which is a responsible body appointed by this Parliament by legislation to operate on behalf of the wool industry. It is not my function to dictate to the bureau, nor has there been any necessity to do so.

Mr Pollard - I did not ask you to dictate. I asked the name of the company and the cost.

Mr ADERMANN - As to the cost, I shall have to get that information and supply it to the honorable member. I am not aware of the cost of the investigation. There was a need for the services of an experienced firm that had a knowledge of the needs of promotion and that was professionally fitted to undertake the task. Certainly that is not the function of the Division of Agricultural Economics, which is not a professional body experienced in promotion.
