Mr HAROLD HOLT - I am unable to say, from my own experience, how far the issues that have been mentioned by my usually very reliable informant entered into the campaign, but, judging from my correspondence and, indeed, from my personal experiences in going around various parts of the Commonwealth, I can say that I confidently believe that there is a wider appreciation of the necessity for the Government's measures and a recognition that they are having the desired effects.
