Mr DAVIDSON (DAWSON, QUEENSLAND) (Postmaster-General) - Before the Australian Broadcasting Control Board submits its recommendations to the Government on the fourth stage of television it will, as the honorable member for Barker has suggested, take into account all the circumstances and conditions prevailing in the various areas, lt is true, as the honorable member says, that conditions in the areas to be serviced in the fourth stage of television will differ in some cases quite materially from those already experienced; and it is realized that particular attention must be given to the conditions prevailing in those areas, so as to ensure that the best service shall be given.
