Mr McIVOR (GELLIBRAND, VICTORIA) - I preface a question to the Treasurer by saying that during the debate on the want-of-confidence motion last week, the Treasurer said, among other things, that the Government's credit squeeze was, in some measure, aimed at bringing about decentralization. I ask the Treasurer: Has the Government any plans relative to decentralization? Has it any plans that will induce industry to establish itself in country districts? Has the Government any plans that will assist municipalities to provide the amenities that decentralization demands? Finally, has the Government any plans to meet housing needs that arise from decentralization, or any plans to help builders or building societies to build the homes to meet developments arising from decentralization?
