Mr POLLARD (LALOR, VICTORIA) - Does the Acting Prime Minister remember that last Wednesday I asked him whether the committee appointed by the Government to inquire into the marketing of wool had been vested with power to demand papers and documents and to subpoena witnesses and take evidence from them? I think the right honorable gentleman said that he did not know but would find out and let me know. Can he now tell me what the position is?
