Mr CALWELL - I ask the Minister for Territories whether he will make a statement to this House at an early date with respect to two recent events in New Guinea, namely, the mutiny of certain native members of the Pacific Islands Regiment at Taurama Barracks, near Port Moresby, because of alleged dissatisfaction with their pay, and the imposition of heavy sentences on more than 100 natives at Rabaul for an assault by some of them on a fellow tribesman.
