Mr ADERMANN (FISHER, QUEENSLAND) (Minister for Primary Industry) - To my knowledge there has been no request for a subsidy, temporary or otherwise, from the pineapple industry. Indeed, the pineapple-growers evolved a stabilization scheme of their own, which was submitted to the growers generally and was approved by them. I rather imagine that they are operating under their own stabilization scheme, or will be operating under it in future.
