Mr MENZIES - The honorable member probably knows that I had some discussion on this matter with the Leader and the Deputy Leader of the Opposition.


Mr Galvin - I would like to know about it.


Mr MENZIES - Well, it ended by my saying that I thought, on the whole, I would not pursue the notion that I had in my mind of choosing some member of the Opposition to go.


Mr CLYDE CAMERON (HINDMARSH, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - Mr. Ward was waiting.


Mr MENZIES - Who was waiting?


Mr CLYDE CAMERON (HINDMARSH, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - Mr. Ward.


Mr Galvin - We would have left it to your own good judgment.


Mr MENZIES - If you had told me that, I could have made a decision earlier.
