Mr KILLEN (Moreton) .- It is not necessarily in any spirit of exaltation because we have now finished the bill that I rise to speak, and I hope the AttorneyGeneral (Sir Garfield Barwick) will not think that it is impertinence on my part, but I wish to thank him for the great patience he has displayed in handling this bill throughout the committee stage. There are those of us who disagreed violently with some of the provisions in the bill, but he was most generous in the attention and, above all, in the patience and assiduity that he displayed during the consideration of this tremendously important measure.

Dr Evatt - I strongly support the remarks just expressed by the honorable member for Moreton.
