Sir GARFIELD BARWICK (Parramatta) (Attorney-General) . - I move -

Omit " Subject to ", insert " Except as provided by".

This is a purely technical amendment which is designed to avoid a collision between two clauses.

Clause, as amended, agreed to.

Clause 65 agreed to.

Clause 66 - (1.) Where there are children of the marriage in relation to whom this section applies, the decree nisi shall not become absolute unless the court, by order, has declared that it is satisfied -

(a)   that proper arrangements have been made for the welfare of those children; or

(b)   that there are such special circumstances that the decree nisi should become absolute notwithstanding that it is not satisfied that proper arrangements have been made for the welfare of those children.
