Dr DONALD CAMERON (OXLEY, QUEENSLAND) . - The purpose of this clause is to enable investigations to be made in particular cases, especially in relation to certain costly drugs. I am willing to give an undertaking that the power will not be arbitrarily or capriciously used. It will be used only when special investigations are being undertaken and even then it will be synchronized with the ordinary annual stocktaking.
