Mr DRUMMOND (New England) . - Mr. Chairman, I should like a little clarification on a point. I have listened carefully to the remarks made by the Minister for Health (Dr. Donald Cameron) in reply at the second-reading stage, and to his remarks in relation to clause 3 just now. I have had brought under my notice, first, the case of a person who contributed at a higher rate, and who was compulsorily transferred to the special account on reaching the specified age, although he was quite prepared to go on contributing at the higher rate in order to obtain the higher benefit. I have had brought to my notice, secondly, the case of a tradesman who had been contributing at the higher rate for himself and his wife. I ask the Minister to note this point carefully, Mr. Chairman, because I think it is important to have it clarified.
