Dr DONALD CAMERON (OXLEY, QUEENSLAND) - -Rucide is a DDT preparation, as the right honorable gentleman knows, and it is true that there have been some stock losses recently following dipping with arsenic after dipping with rucide. The trouble is known to have been due to the solvent used with the rucide and not to the DDT itself. As a general rule DDT dips are less toxic than arsenic. I shall bring to the notice of the New South Wales Government the desirability of charging all the dips in the areas he mentioned with the fluid of the least toxicity.
