Mr HASLUCK (CURTIN, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) (Minister for Territories) - Very regretfully I have to inform the honorable member that every part of his question is based on an untruth. I never made the statement that he has ascribed to me. I have attended Premiers Conferences at which this question of native welfare has been discussed and, although not privileged to speak at the conferences, I have been present to give my comments to the Prime Minister, who was representing the Commonwealth Government. This question of native welfare has, to my knowledge, been discussed at, I think, three Premiers Conferences during the term of the present Government.
