Mr LAWRENCE (WIMMERA, VICTORIA) - My question is addressed to the Minister for Supply. In view of a report that the Dutch Government is doing some work on the desalination of sea water by special processes, can the Minister say whether any work is being done in the laboratories or establishments of the Department of Supply on this important matter which could have great significance for the Australian economy, especially in arid areas?
