Mr WEBB - I direct the attention of the Minister for Supply to a question that I placed on the notice-paper on 2nd April. It concerns a survey of radio-activity, and is in the following terms: -

1.   Is a survey of radio-activity levels over Australia being undertaken by the Commonwealth Government?

2.   If so, is it because there is danger of radioactive dust falling as a result of atom and hydrogen bomb explosions?

3.   Is this radio-active dust detrimental to the health of the Australian people?

4.   If the taking of such a survey indicates that some doubt exists as to the effect of the dust fall, will he stop further atomic tests in Australia in order that the health of the nation may not be prejudiced?

I now ask the Minister when I may expect to receive a reply to that question.
