Mr HAROLD HOLT (HIGGINS, VICTORIA) - I am not able to say, offhand, whether the figures, in the precise detail given by the honorable member, are those which have been released by the Department of Labour, but I can check them. As to the Government's general economic policy and programme and the effect it may have on Western Australia, the Prime Minister will shortly be making a statement on the condition of the Australian economy, and I understand that subsequently the periodical conference of the Prime Minister, the Treasurer and the Premiers of the States will be held to determine the loan programme for the coming financial year. I have no doubt that the circumstances to which the honorable member has referred will be in the mind of the Government's advisers.
