Mr MINOGUE (WEST SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Has the attention of the Treasurer been directed to the fact that six days elapsed before arrangements could be made for the burial of a man who died recently in Sydney, that lapse of time being due to the fact that the man was destitute? Will the Treasurer consider providing, in the next budget, for an increase of the present funeral allowance of £10 to £30 in the case of age and invalid pensioners?
