Mr Ward d asked the Minister for Immigration, upon notice -

1.   Is it a fact that at the last Citizenship Convention held in Canberra, the delegates called on the Commonwealth Government to release funds far home-building purposes?

2.   If so, what steps did the Government take subsequent to this decision, or what steps does it intend to take, to increase the availability of finance for this purpose?

Mr Townley - The answer to the honorable member's questions is as follows: - 1 and 2. There was no resolution to this effect by the delegates at the last Citizenship Convention held in Canberra.
