Mr CAIRNS (YARRA, VICTORIA) - Is the Minister for Trade aware that importers who hold a large portion of the quotas allocated, particularly in the textile industry, have raised the prices charged to manufacturers, although there have been no increases of the prices of imported materials? If the Minister is not aware of that, I point out that I submitted evidence of it to the department some weeks ago. Will he take it into account and, as soon as possible, make a decision, or see that a decision is made, to prevent this practice from continuing?
