Mr CASEY - 1 do not quite understand the significance of this question, but I am sure that it is a very clever question indeed.


Dr Evatt - It is - a very good one!


Mr CASEY - The Leader of the Opposition asked what was the policy of the Government, not the views of any particular individual on this side of the House. I think the words I used in reply were that the policy of the Government was not noticeably different from that of the United Kingdom. That refers to the policy side; I am not speaking of any particular event in point of time, but of the general policy and attitude of the United Kingdom Government. It can be taken, as I said, that the views of the Australian Government are not noticeably different from those of the United Kingdom Government.
