Mr WIGHT (LILLEY, QUEENSLAND) - I address a question to the Minister acting for the Minister for Trade. The Minister will recall that some months ago I wrote a letter to him in which were set out certain allegations about trafficking in import licences and the methods employed by certain business concerns to lessen the impact of import restrictions upon their operations. I now ask the Minister: Have steps been taken b) the Government to close the loop-holes that existed in the system? Does he consider that trafficking in import licences or the dishonest use of import quotas is still being indulged in?
