Mr MENZIES - 1 think the honorable member is leaving out of account the fact that during this period we, as a Government, have done a great deal for Western Australia in connexion with the water scheme and, more recently, in connexion with the general works programme of that State. I cannot undertake to make an impromptu statement about each of a series of proposals. If the honorable member is interested, I shall be able to find out what has happened in relation to each of them. But if his intention is to convey the impression that Western Australia has been neglected, or that its claims have been overlooked, I want to make it abundantly clear that no State has received better treatment than the State of Western Australia.
