Mr ASTON (PHILLIP, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Has the attention of the Minister for External Affairs been drawn to the reported move by the AfricanAsian group at the United Nations to have the question of the sovereignty of Dutch New Guinea included in the provisional agenda of the General Assembly, and to the contents of a memorandum handed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, part of which I shall now read? The memorandum states, inter alia -

In its wider context as an unresolved remnant of a colonial problem it affects adversely the whole complex of international relations in that part of the world.

In view of the intention of that group to bring the matter before the General Assembly, will the Minister inform the House of the Government's attitude towards this move?
