Mr E JAMES HARRISON (BLAXLAND, NEW SOUTH WALES) - My question to the Minister for Air is supplementary to that asked by the honorable member for Bonython. Is the Minister aware that, owing to the lack of a production programme at Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Proprietary Limited, Lidcombe, 150 employees were actually listed for service with dismissal notices last Friday, but that at 4 p.m. last Thursday instructions were received " to hold everything for the time being? Can the Minister give the House any idea of how long it will be before the new policy is determined by the Government, and can he also give an assurance to these 150 employees, all of whom are highly skilled, that the waiting time will not be so long that it will result in them being dismissed?
