Mr FITZGERALD (PHILLIP, NEW SOUTH WALES) - As the millionth immigrant is due to arrive in Australia shortly, I should like to ask the Minister for Immigration whether he can advise the percentage of the various nationalities that have been brought to Australia under the immigration scheme. Will the Minister, through the department, arrange for details of the numbers from each country, and, in addition, advise the ' numbers expected from various countries under the 125,000 target for the current year?

There is a strong belief that the influx of British immigrants is falling below the aggregate from other countries.
