Mr POLLARD (Ballarat) (Minister for Commerce and Agriculture) . - I have listened with great interest to the speech of the honorable member for Maranoa and I can quite well understand the objection that the honorable gentleman might take, or that might be taken by any other honorable member, to remarks quoted from a letter written from somewhere in Australia by someone unknown. The honorable gentleman, to my mind, during the course of his speech has attempted to convey that the Minister for Information (Mr. Calwell) said that he was guilty of the practices referred to in the letter that the Minister had simply mentioned.
