Mr LANGTRY (RIVERINA, NEW SOUTH WALES) - In view of the very serious position that exists in the wheat areas of New South Wales, and the urgent need of financial assistance to wheat-growers because of drought conditions, will the Minister for Commerce and Agriculture immediately discuss with the Government or the Treasurer the provision of money for the payment of a drought relief subsidy for the whole of the State? I desire the matter dealt with at once, because farmers will be unable to carry on their operations unless they are assured of help from the Government immediately.
