Mr WHITE (BALACLAVA, VICTORIA) - In view of the differing food positions in Britain and Australia, will the Prime Minister, when he conducts his inquiry, in conjunction with the Minister for Commerce and Agriculture, with a view to determining whether a greater national effort may be made to export food to Britain, also consider whether the food parcels that are being sent generously to Britain by Australian citizens may be supplemented by a substantial gift of food from the Commonwealth as a Christmas gesture?
