Mr RYAN (FLINDERS, VICTORIA) - Last March, I directed the attention of the House to the injustice under which poultry farmers were suffering by reason of the fact that, whilst the ceiling prices of eggs remained constant the costs of production had risen very considerably during this year. The Minister for Commerce and Agriculture informed me subsequently that the matter had been referred to the Prices Commissioner for a decision. Although four months have elapsed, a decision has not yet been made. Can the Minister assign a reason for this long delay, and will he ensure an early decision?
