Mr FRANCIS (MORETON, QUEENSLAND) - I ask the Minister representing the Minister for Health whether it is correct that a duty has been imposed on penicillin imported from Britain. Has this been done because imported penicillin was selling at almost one-third of the price of the local product? If this is so, what is the reason for the high cost of locally manufactured penicillin, and is there any prospect of a reduction of the price of the local product? Is. penicillin being manufactured commercially in Australia outside the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, and, if so, where ?
