Mr SCULLY (Gwydir) (Minister for Commerce and Agriculture) . - I cannot accept the amendment. ' In my opinion, the bill as it now stands is satisfactory. It will be found that when the chairman is appointed he will be a man of whom the producers can approve. ' Some organizations of primary producers, especially their executive committees, are willing that the chairman should be the controller of the meat acquisition scheme-. They say that, although he is not a producer, he has given entire satisfaction.
