Mr ARCHIE CAMERON (Barker) .- Will the Minister tell me which clause of the bill makes it necessary to appropriate revenue? I appreciate that an appropriation of revenue will be necessary in connexion with the Wheat Export Charge Bill, but I cannot see any provision in this measure which needs to be covered by an appropriation under section 56 of the Constitution.

Mr Scully - Such an appropriation is necessary for the purposes of clause 31 (5).

Question resolved in the affirmative.
