Mr RANKIN (BENDIGO, VICTORIA) - Has the Acting AttorneyGeneral seen the report in Queensland newspapers of a speech by the former Australian Minister to Moscow, Mr. Maloney, in which he stated that Communists in Australia were directed from Moscow ? If so, in view of the way in which Australian Communists have fomented strikes and caused widespread industrial trouble will the Acting AttorneyGeneral inform the House if the Government has any information to confirm Mr. Maloney's statement? If not. will he make immediate inquiries and make a statement on the matter to the House this week?
