Mr FORDE (CAPRICORNIA, QUEENSLAND) (Minister for the Army) - I shall discuss the matter with the Minister for Trade and Customs with a view to having a statement prepared on the subject. The honorable member will" realize that, as it is necessary to export as much food as possible to Great Britain, the rationing of meat and butter must be continued. This fact must be taken into consideration by the Rationing Commission when deciding whether to issue advance coupons to allow for the opening of more food shops.
