Mr SPEAKER - Order ! The honorable member's remarks go beyond the bounds of a question.


Mr BLAIN - If the same stock were held until, after June, 1947, the proceeds of their sale might be heavily taxed. In the absence of a policy declaration by the Government, this uncertainty will result in the sale of many breeding cows, young cattle and only partly fattened cattle, to the lasting detriment of the cattle industry of the Northern Territory.
