Mr SPEAKER (Hon J S Rosevear (DALLEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I have received from the Leader of the Opposition (Mr. Menzies) an intimation that he desires to move the adjournment of the House for the purpose of discussing a definite matter of urgent public importance, namely -

The state of emergency caused by the failure of the Government to ensure adequate supplies of coal for the industrial, transport and domestic requirements of Australia.
