Mr BERNARD CORSER (WIDE BAY, QUEENSLAND) - Farmers and graziers in Queensland are. sustaining considerable losses as the result of the strike in the Queensland meat industry. Their losses are being aggravated by drought. The people in Queensland generally are suffering. Industrialists are likely to lose their wages. Now that the strike appears to have spread to New South Wales, as the waterside workers yesterday declared black and refused to handle meat products from Queensland, will the Prime Minister assert the authority of the Commonwealth Government in order to bring relief to the people and to show that his Ministery is capable of governing, despite this act of industrial lawlessness?
