Mr BLAIN (NORTHERN TERRITORY) - Will the Minister for Transport inform me whether the Government intends to adhere to the railway route recommended by Sir Harold Clapp through Bourke, Cunnamulla, Blackall and'' Mount Isa, thence to Darwin? If not, will the honorable gentleman assure the House that any alteration of the route will be to the eastward, and not to the westward, through the channel country of Cooper's Creek, south-west Queensland ?
