Mr Fadden n asked the Minister for Repatriation, upon notice -

1.   How many ex-servicemen have applied to his department for loans to enable them to set themselves up in business, giving separate details for each State? 2.How many of such applications were (a) granted and (b) refused?

3.   How many are at present awaiting determination ?

4.   What is the average time taken between receipt of an application and the reaching of a decision?

5.   Is it a fact- that ex-servicemen have had to wait for five to nine months without receiving a decision upon their applications?
