Sir CHARLES MARR (PARKES, NEW SOUTH WALES) - In the absence of the Minister for the Army, I ask the Prime Minister whether he has any information to give to the House concerning a report in this week's issue of Smith's W eekly in regard to a mysterious mission 204, presumably recruited from members of the Eighth Division of the Australian Imperial Force and other Britishtroops in Malaya, some of whom sent letters to relatives from Chungking, China, last June? If not, will the right honorable gentleman institute inquiries in regard to the matter?

Mr.CURTIN.- The answer to the latter part of the question, is that I shall institute inquiries.
