Mr JOLLY (Lilley) .- During the second-reading debate, the AttorneyGeneral (Dr. Evatt) assured me that prosecutions would not be launched against the directors or the staff of a company unless it could be proved that they were parties to the offence. As I interpret this clause, the moment a prosecution is launched against a company, the directors and officers will be involved.
