Mr CURTIN - The Production Executive was established in order to achieve the purposes which the honorable gentleman has in mind, and it is steadily advancing to its goal. The existing machinery is as good as any that could be devised.

Mr MORGAN - Is the Minister for Labour and National Service aware that the British Government is now officially sponsoring joint production committees in war industries similar to those advocated by the Minister for the Australian coal mines, and that a set of rules has been drawn up for the conduct of the committees? Will the Minister adopt a similar procedure in Australia with a view to ensuring harmony and increasing efficiency and production.
