Mr MORGAN (REID, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Regarding the proposals foreshadowed in the budget for the amendment of the Commonwealth Constitution, I ask the Attorney-General to indicate whether the Government proposes to appoint a committee of this Parliament, or any other body, to consider such proposals before they are introduced in Parliament? Will the right honorable gentleman also say whether it is proposed to hold a conference of State representatives with the object of examining the possibilities of agreement in relation to matters that may he involved?
