Mr RANKIN (BENDIGO, VICTORIA) - In view of the fact that regulations have been made authorizing the use of Werribee beef, will the Minister for Commerce extend the application of those regulations to all other sewerage authorities in other cities and towns throughout Australia who are compelled to install huge purification plant and not use raw sewage as is the case at Werribee?

Mr SCULLY - I shall give consideration to that matter. If the honorable gentleman will place before me privately the facts of any application, the matter will be dealt with immediately, because we want to ensure as far as possible that no beef shall be wasted. Every help will be given to public bodies to utilize pastures to the best advantage.
