Mr FRANCIS (MORETON, QUEENSLAND) - Following correspondence I have had withthe Minister for the Army concerning complaints of parents that lads of eighteen years, untrained or with very little training, had been sent to advanced battle stations, I ask the honorable gentleman whether he has not repeatedly stated in the House and in the press that no member of the forces who had not been properly trained orwas not over eighteen years of age would be sent to such battle stations? Whyis this continuing to happen, and what action is the Minister taking to stop this very undesirable practice?
